He is a fellow member of IOV RVF, Institute of Engineers, Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors, Registered valuer under Wealth Tax Act 34AB for Immovable Properties and Machinery & Plant, and an Eminent Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), London.

He has established the valuation practice of RNC and leads various valuation assignments.

He is the only Insurance Surveyor & Loss Assessor in India to be appointed by IRDAI twice, a distinction not achieved by anybody else in the country. This showcases the confidence bestowed on him by the Insurance Industry Regulator as well as the leading Insurance Companies. He spearheads the Insurance Survey and Loss Assessment department of the company and has led various large and prestigious insurance claims in the category of Fire, Marine Cargo, Engineering, Motor, LOP and Misc.

Furthermore, he has also laid the foundation of the Valuation department at RNC and has been part of large and complex valuations in India and Overseas.
He has been a speaker at various sessions, conferences and seminars on Insurance and Valuation matters organized by Insurance companies, Banks, Insurance Brokers and Professional bodies including ASSOCHAM, I-Deals, etc. among others.

He heads the Valuation, Corporate Finance & Deals and Advisory practices of the organization and looks after the Business Development strategies which helps in shaping the future of the organisation. He has been a part of numerous large and complex transactions for Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Insurance, Financial reporting, among others.

Under his able leadership, RNC has obtained experience and expertise in offering advisory services to various sectors such as Metals, Mining, Power, EPC & Infrastructure, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Engineering, Real Estate, Cement, Construction, Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Automobile, Logistics, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Information Technology & Electronics, Textile, etc.

Sahil is an active speaker in various conferences, seminars and webinars covering topics such as Valuations, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Mergers & Acquisitions, etc. organised by ASSOCHAM, CII, I-Deals, ICAI, Legal Era, among others. He also had the privilege to be invited as a speaker by the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) to address to senior officials of the other three regulators – Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) & Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Sahil is also the Co-Chairman at National council of Insolvency and Bankruptcy & Valuations at ASSOCHAM and CII’s Task Force on Insolvency & Bankruptcy.

He is member of IOVRVF and life member as Chartered Values of Indian Institute of valuers. He has a vast experience of more than 40 years in industries like Synthetic yarns and fibres, Packaging films, Fine chemicals and Hydrometallurgy in the areas of manufacturing, operations and projects.

He has hands-on experience in leading various Green Field and Brown Field projects comprising process plants, utilities, CPPs, Environment Management Systems. He is well versed with statutory compliances and other rules and regulations which govern various industries.

He leads the Valuation Advisory practice of RNC and his valuation experience encompasses Valuation of Real Estate, Valuation of Industrial Assets & Technical due diligence for Mergers & Acquisitions, TEV Studies, Lender’s engineer, Financial Reporting, etc. He is also heading the operations in the valuation division and is largely responsible for the smoother execution of the projects across the firm. He has been involved in the major mandates of the firm across the service mix.

His pivotal role in the team has ensured the timely and accurate delivery of the reports. His in-depth knowledge and vast experience have enabled RNC to achieve newer heights.

Vineet is involved in several large assignments for valuation of Securities or Financial Assets, Intangible Assets, Instruments, & Derivatives in various purposes like Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Impairment Testing, Purchase Price Allocation and others. Chander was the Partner & Head of Valuations in his last serving role and also part of the India Leadership Team at Corporate Professionals, a SEBI Registered (Cat-I) Merchant Banker in New Delhi. He has worked with many mid to large companies in advising them on various Valuation, M&A and Deals including both domestic and cross border transactions.

Chander has been at the forefront of the development of the valuation profession in India and has served at prestigious positions as a Member of the Central Government (MCA) Committee under Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Rules, 2017, entrusted with the responsibility to recommend/frame the Indian Valuation Standards and advise on Institutional Framework for Regulation and Development of Valuation Profession in India.

During his stint at Corporate Professionals, he also acted as the lead Author of 2 unique books on Valuation titled as “Business Valuation in India-beyond the numbers”.
